Thanks Diana! My husband works for the local transportation district – using AutoCAD a lot – guess who had blueprints and all when he designed and built the coop?! He’s brilliant, my husband!

Aren’t chickens sneaky?! I’ve got a couple that make the art of escape look like child’s play. They can drive you nuts – but it’s impossible not too love them!

Good job Liz! I was having a nightmare with my girls jumping over to my neighbors home. Some were not too excited about it, yikes! We finally put up a wooden privacy fence and they’ve been much better at staying within their boundaries. It amazes me how high these girls can jump! I LOVE your coop!!

Hi Diana!

Yes – this is my Aero Garden that my husband gave me for my birthday last year. I *finally* got it set up in September – my birthday is in December! I’ve already decided that I will do an herb garden when the tomatoes are done – it’s SO FUN watching the progress daily!

I’m excited for Spring, too… I learned that there’s a great way to do plant starts with my Aero Garden (60 some starts at a time) so I’ve begun to strategize!

Loved your post about San Francisco! What fun!

Dina, I’ve been getting your posts by email I have to ask you, are you growing these indoors? How great to have tomato plants going during this time! I just got my seed savers catalog in the mail yesterday and am already excited for next Spring, lol!! Besitos Amiga!

Well, the good news is that the success continues, and the girls are adjusting… their egg production is down – we kind of expected that with the change, but they’ll get over it!
